Announcement: If you request books from MeLCat, the process will look different beginning November 1st 2021. It's simple though: where you would previously have selected Les Cheneaux Community Library as your library, look for Superior District Library instead. You can then select Les Cheneaux as the location that you would like to pick up the item at - or, select one of the other locations if they will be more convenient for you!
COVID-19 Policy Update 6/25/21:
The Board of Trustees of the Superior District Library, of which Les Cheneaux Community Library is an affiliate, voted in their regular monthly meeting last evening to modify the mask policy for all SDL libraries. The policy has been modified to follow the recent MDHHS rescission of emergency orders. Masks are no longer required for entrance into SDL libraries. You are still welcome to wear them if you wish, and curbside pick is still available if that meets your needs. We still ask that you do not enter the libraries if you are or have recently been ill and we ask that you continue to use the hand sanitizer provided and maintain distance between you and other patrons and staff not in your household. Thank you so much for your continued cooperation as we provide access to library materials and services while keeping everyone safe and healthy.
