The mission of the Nicholas H. Noyes Jr. Memorial Foundation is to honor the intentions of the founders, Nicholas and Marguerite Noyes, to honor their son, Nicholas H. Noyes, Jr. The foundation primarily supports charitable organizations and educational institutions that serve the residents of the greater Indianapolis area, with an emphasis on Marion County, in the areas of arts and culture, education, health and human services, civic and community service and religion. Other areas of interest and geographic regions that may also receive funding include those where the board has special knowledge and interest, or which were of particular importance to the founders.
